Ability for a creature to mount another creature

When I have a creature smaller than another creature I can set it to mount another. It’s similar menu to attack. If it is a larger creature then I can select mount. The token will be placed on top of the other token and when the bottom token moves both tokens move together.

What situations would this Feature be useful?

In-game the bladesinger wizard Zelos mounts the enormous spider slashing at and injuring its eyes. The spider rears up its head in defiance of the intrusion. The adventurers hack and slash at the spider. The nearby bard says a tune of dissonant whispers and the spider runs away. Zelos is carried off on the spider. and up the nearby wall.
