What Feature would you like to see included within TaleSpire?
I’d like to see an alternative way to add tiles by using a brush. where you can click and drag a cursor with an adjustable radius and it will fill up the space with tiles, almost like your’e drawing or sculpting.
What situations would this Feature be useful?
Currently, I find it difficult to lay down tiles for a more natural terrain. with the current way of placing tiles by placing them one at a time or dragging a marquee selection for the tiles to fill, sometimes things may look too flat or clean if you don’t spend hours adjusting the terrain just right that the slopes look naturally formed. With this feature, I can easily draw more organic shapes, saving time on adjusting individual tiles. Other than that, I can also see this feature being used to fill in empty spaces that aren’t exactly square in shape.
Additional Thoughts/Details
In addition, having the brush randomize the direction of the tile or prop would also be very helpful in laying down things like trees or grass tiles. Generally making things look more organic looking. Another thing that I think can help is a spray-brush like effect, where the longer you hold the brush, the more material will add on top of the tiles. Almost like you’re 3D sculpting, creating mounds and mountains.
