Ctrl+Scroll Wheel Depth Select/Grab Object

What Feature would you like to see included within TaleSpire?
I would like to be able to be able to easily select objects behind or inside another object. As I envision it, I would move the cursor over the object while in build mode, hold down Ctrl (or a different key), and then rotate the scroll wheel. This would rotate the selection of what I could grab between all the objects directly under the cursor, possibly hiding the objects between the camera and the targeted object. Then, once I’d located the object I want to interact with, I would click, grabbing that object and not any other object that might be between the camera and the desired object.

What situations would this Feature be useful?
Currently, when you mouse over an object while in build mode, it jumps up slightly, indicating that that’s the object you will grab if you click. However, for objects that are clipped into other objects, or are otherwise inside, behind, or underneath them, it can be very difficult to grab them. In some cases, such as when an object is clipped into another and is only slightly exposed, the object “jumping” on mouseover can actually completely conceal the other object, preventing the user from grabbing it.

My feature request would allow a user to easily cycle though objects that are clipped together, allowing for the object that needs to be adjusted to be quickly selected.

Additional Thoughts/Details

In the build I was working on earlier today, I have placed a number of flames within some grouped pillars and under a floor to achieve a specific lighting effect. However, I discovered that I had placed a few flames a bit too close to the edge, resulting in a bit of the flame asset visibly peaking out from inside a pillar, and another occasionally flickering up through the floor. It took over ten minutes, some fiddling with the cutaway tool, multiple uses of undo when I grabbed the pillar instead, and some luck in order to grab the flame and move it where it needed to go.
