Hiding Light Sources Doesn't Hide the Light

Describe the Bug
I wanted to create a trap in a dungeon that produces a ring of fire around the pc’s when they interact with a statue in the middle of the room. It’s almost perfect and works really well, except that when I create a hide volume to hide the fire from the party, so that I can reveal it later when they trigger the trap, the hide volume doesn’t hide the light that the fire gives off. This produces a a bright ring of light that surrounds the statue, as well as flickering fire light on the walls. I’m not sure if this is working as intended or I should suggest trap like fire that can activate/de-active in feature suggestions.

To Reproduce
Simply place the fire asset and then hide it using a hide volume. Place things around the fire to observe the light that is given off by the fire.

Additional Context
really liking this as a VTT so far and don’t have a ton of experience, completely possible that this is doable and I just haven’t figured out how to do it yet, in which case it would be great if someone could let me know how to make it happen. With no solution, I think I’ll just create a separate copied board with unhidden fire, and switch to that one once it’s triggered, and then switch back once they make it through the door.
