High-pass/low-pass audio filters
What Feature would you like to see included within TaleSpire?
Toggleable or slideable high-pass and low-pass filters for music and ambient audio. For those who don’t know what those are, they only pass through the high or low frequencies of the given audio sample.
What situations would this Feature be useful?
What made me think of it was the existing “Rain, Medium” ambient audio, and the lack of a “Rain, Interior” ambient audio. Using that audio and then enabling a low-pass filter would immediately create the same effect as a “Rain, Interior” without any new sounds needing to be added. Could also be nice to use a high-pass filter on the music in a really cold area to create a sort of iced in effect.
Additional Thoughts/Details
Ideally, there would be a separate filter for music and for ambience. They could be simple sliders, with one end being high-pass, the other end being low-pass, and the middle being default audio. Would probably need a little tick mark in the center to denote that’s the default, for users who don’t know what a high-pass or low-pass filter is.
