Imported PNG Surface Tokens

The Idea

A great stop-gap measure to custom minis (using HeroForge, built-in model editor, or uploading 3D models of your own) would be to create tokens which have a surface where the player can import any .png file. These could also be designed mostly flat, like coins, or standing up. I'm thinking something like the old plastic feet, that would hold cardboard cutouts of characters to use as tokens. Of course, designed with the rest of Talespire's tokens in mind.

Cost-Effectiveness

The TaleSpire team has a lot of work to do when it comes to adding mini variety to the game, with custom 3D models being a huge investment. Allowing for flat-image importing will give all players present and future a single token (per size category) with effectively limitless application. I know a lot of potential TaleSpire purchasers that are simply waiting for custom miniatures, because they don't see themselves or their friends playing in a program that does not readily accommodate their custom characters. This addition would undoubtedly bring in more customers, for relatively little investment compared with current custom minis plans.
