Interface and community library
NOTE FROM DEV: THIS HAS BEEN EDITED TO REMOVE DUPLICATION FROM REQUESTS, SEE COMMENTS FOR MORE INFO
issues with unlinking custom assets from the community list. its too easy to accidentally unlink something you are trying to grab if you dont avoid the big button on the main picture to grab it.
maybe a right click or something to get to a function to unlink it vs accidentally unlinking with no confirmation and having to find it
in the same vein, when i search something in that same community list of linked/subscribed assets i can type what its called exactly, and i never get brought to it. a better search or bug fix?since the search option is not working as one would expect, it would be nice to click on a creature and have a way to quickly copy and paste them
maybe a vote of community custom assets that can get accepted into the main library and filed properly as either creatures or props. since you guys are working on the back end stuff, people are starving for more content let alone more manipulation mechanicsit would be nice to be able to use the morph function with custom/more assets. especially since people make really cool objects in the phase of “its an object” and “now its a mimic revealed” sort of ideaits tedious to have to have everyone jump through hoops to get it in game especially since if i have a secret im pulling out and i put it in the map and a big screen giving it away pops up asking to download it.i like to have things “snap to grid” in the options and with having to use “creatures” for props it really bugs me to have to turn that off to position them rightmain library lacks so perhaps an in game tab or something to get props or slabs or something to download vs going to a website and importing it there back and fourth
more manipulation tools. back to the community assets thing again, some people make “large” things really small. so much so, that lets say we have a tank that isnt much bigger than a regular sized car. you cant just make every other creature small, (yes but) because then terrain and other props you cant scale are disproportionate.
some props are really useful in the base game but i cant change its color, elongate it, change its size, or rotate it on any other axis but one. and thats super limiting and boring.
@ in the age of tech and expectations, its not hard to say those who dont have potatoes for PCs are going to use this program/game more than ones who DO have potatoes. its going to enhance the draw and life of this if it has more ways to get MORE creative and farther use of it with more additions like these as a start.
well done getting this far guys. Cheers.
