Line of Sight applied to ALL assets (as a subsitute to Fog of War)

Essentially, if you apply the Line of Sight feature you have on minis to all assets, it would essentially work as a fog of war.

So if your mini is in a room, all the walls surrounding it would pop in, but outside of the walls would be blocked by the line of sight.

Now if you’re outside in a city, same thing. Buildings would obstruct your view, but you’d still be able to see what’s directly in front and around your mini. Only thing that would have to be added is a way to toggle this on and off.

What situations would this Feature be useful?
Again, it’s a great substitute for a Fog of War. Making hide volumes everywhere is time consuming and difficult, especially in cavern areas. Plus, the lack of Fog of War is the reason why most people don’t pick up this game. Adding it would tremendously help the game!

Also, you all already applied this to other minis that don’t belong to players, so I can’t imagine that applying this feature to all assets would be that difficult.

Additional Thoughts/Details

Obviously, this isn’t a perfect solution, but it’s a thousand times better than the current Fog of War/hiding system, and a million times better than nothing at all.

If you decide to implement this, I would be more than ecstatic for a barebones version, but in the future you could add a seeing range for certain minis (aka darkvision). And if you make it so things that have already been revealed stay revealed, then it’s exactly like Fog of War. But for right now, I’m happy with a barebones basic version of this.

Fog of War is possibly the most important part of a TTRPG map experience, and I think this is possibly quickest solution considering Line of Sight is already implemented.
