Option for per-player dice colors

An option to add player-chosen colored dice per player, either in per die or full-set coloring, making it much easier to identify each player’s roll at a glance, reducing confusion if multiple players roll at once, as well as making it easier for a player to keep track of their own dice. the GM could have their own colors for their own rolls, such as white, to tell players that this particular die is for the GM

A tabaxi rogue, a tiefling bard, and an owlin wizard all roll initiative, and they happen to roll at the exact same time. as the dice are all red and the dice are difficult to track effectively, the players have to watch the UI display each result. the GM looks away for a moment to make sure their cat isn’t getting into trouble, and misses the tabaxi’s result. The GM then asks the tabaxi what their result was, but they were busy taking a bite of their sandwich.

Now let’s take the same situation, but give each player their own individual color. for this example, the tabaxi gets dark blue, the tiefling gets a pale red, and the owlin gets green. the GM looks away to their cat and misses the tabaxi’s result. The tabaxi takes a bite of their sandwich, missing their UI popup. the GM then asks what result their got, and because each player has their own color of dice, the tabaxi simply finds their dark blue die and tells the GM what they rolled.

Additional Thoughts/Details

I’ve had a few experiences where connection speed differences have caused the UI to not display the results of rolls in quick succession, usually when three or more players roll at the same time, which happens quite often when rolling for initiative. having to guess which die was mine, or moving the camera to follow my roll, gets tiresome after a while.
