Adding modifiers to dice rolls

What Feature would you like to see included within TaleSpire?
What does it look like, how does it work, how is it used. Paint us a figurative picture.

Something pretty simple, but really helpful, should be added to TaleSpire: the possibility of automatically add modifiers to dice rolls. For example, I want to make an attack roll, whereby I would roll a d20, and add my modifiers (proficiency bonus + strength modifier). Let’s assume that this sum results in a +7 modifier. We should just have a way to automatically add 7 to the dice roll. In addition, each player could have frequently used modifiers, that they could automatically activate before a dice roll (for example: saving throws, attack modifiers, damage modifiers, and so on). It seems to be a simple feature to add in the game.

What situations would this Feature be useful?
Descriptions, examples, interactions with existing features - whatever you can think of to get your idea across!

 Attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks.
